Foggy

It has been sort of overcast and wet here over the past week or so. Not so good for setting the mood. but oh so beautiful at night. The fog made me want to just prance around FSU's campus and take pictures.
So I did.

The Sun

So for Christmas, my Aunt and Uncle who live out in New Mexico got me a subscription to this magazine called The Sun.

This magazine is meant to inspire and celebrate life in all its forms. And that is just what it does. I usually cant get through an entire story without stopping to start writing. 

The stories are written by established and upcoming writers.

They are mostly non fiction, beautifully written, honest pieces. 

Simply a joy to read.

1-1-11

I've decided a few things for this next year. I want to try to not do the same things I did last year. Simple.

I want to go to new restaurants. New bars. Travel to new places. I just want to be a happier person.

Away with the wind

Visiting my friend Sabrina at her beautiful home in Ocala, Florida.

You forget just how beautiful silence is. To be out in the open air with no cars driving by, no phones ringing, and no one talking was so peaceful. We rode around on her ATVs and just drank in the day. It was good for the soul I think. Everyone needs a place like this.

There was lots of cooking, fighting, laughing and of corse...eating!

                                                      

                                                              

And so it begins...

Alright. So with this being my first blog, it may take me a while to get the hang of it.  I hope that this blog helps me write a little bit more, at least outside of research papers and literature journal entries for school. I love the free form of blog entries and that there really are no rules. So until I find a real niche, this will be everything.
